NORMS ESCAPE
The popular genre of "Doodle Jumps" is getting a worthy, new addition: "NorsmEscape" can be played on the iPhone and the iPad. The story: a little chubby bird barely escapes from being turned into a tasty meal. His flight takes him up into the air.
It is the players job to help the bird getting up into the air as far as possible. Along the way gold coins and power-ups have been collected. by tilting the phone the bird may be move from left to right. however he doesn't fly automatically. In order to zoom up into the air he needs to constantly be inflated, which is accomplished with a tap and hold on the screen.
The bird is able to collect lots of power-ups, which render hum invulnerable and protect him from the prickly throns that he encounters while in the air. The power-ups also such in all gold coins that are close by and even treat teh bird to a machine gum
Conclusion:
"NormsEscape" is a visually extremely well implemented Doodle Jump Clone. It features lost of new ideas and an ingenious inflate-the-bird-control. I had lots of fun with it.
