HTC DROID DNA is the latest Android phone that caught everybody's attention with its 5-inch full hd (1920x1080) and what's under the hood, so let's go and start our

HTC DROID DNA has a 5-inch LCD 3 display with 1920x1080 whereas Galaxy Note II has 5.5-inch display with 1280x720 Super AMOLED display. Xbox Surface Tablet Specs Leaked + Microsoft Windows 8 Tablet Render Appears

We’re just minutes away from the big Microsoft event from June 18th, that will maybe announce a new tablet. Rumors have just leaked the specs for what seems to be an Xbox tablet called Surface. And meanwhile, while we have no picture to go with the launch, there’s a nifty render done by Deviantart user Alextc1, showing a Windows 8 slate with a design that looks as if it’s made by Nokia.

The tablet reminds me of the Lumia handsets and it’s very glossy and elegant. Moving on to the Xbox Surface tablet, this gaming device will supposedly come with a 7 inch multitouch LED display, with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, SD card slot, two IBM Power7 SCMs, with a total of 12 cores doing all the work and a frequency of 3.1 GHz. There’s also 16MB of PSRAM, 5GB of DDR3 main memory at 800 MHz, a custom 28 nm GPU y AMD and 1.2GB GDDR memory. Add to that Full Direct3D 11 support, 4 USB 3.0 ports and 1440p output and you have one of the best consoles out there.

Storage should be around 250GB and supposedly, the Xbox Surface also comes with some sort of Kinect control. Or at least make things exciting for everyone again.

That weapon is Microsoft Surface. And it is beautiful. Beautiful and functional and simple and honest. Surface just bumped the MacBook Air and the iPad to the back seat, and it did so by hewing tightly to everything that Apple's Jonny Ive holds dear, according to the Ten Principles of his Jedi design master, Dieter Rams:

Good design principles for both hardware and software

• Good design is innovative

Surface uses a new manufacturing process—VaporMg—that reduces its weight while keeping it strong. That process also allows for a built-in kickstand, which is invisible when using the product in tablet mode. It may seem obvious, but it's innovative and enables its laptop mode easily. The same happens with the use of the cover as a keyboard—with its own design breakthroughs. And again with the combination of multi-touch and pressure sensitive pen technology in the Pro model. This is something that you can't find built in any tablet or computer today.
The software user experience is also innovative. It's not just an evolution of the Palm, or a Newton springboard. Metro's live tiles offer information in real time without having to launch apps. It allows for multitasking with split screens. It was created from scratch for touch but it also works with a physical keyboard and trackpad. Metro is, without a doubt, the most innovative user experience both on Earth and on the USS Enterprise.

This, too, extends to the software. Again, the live tiles, the multitasking, and Surface's ability to run full professional programs like Photoshop all open the scope of a computing device that can both entertain you and work for you at the same time.

• Good design is aesthetic

Surface is definitely aesthetic. This thing is beautiful when it's turned off—like the iPad and MacBook Air—and when it's turned on. Simple and sleek minimalism. The software has exactly the same attributes.

Everyone who has seen and touched it thinks the Surface itself is gorgeous. Metro is perfect for it: colorful, simple, without the horrible artifice of skeuomorphism omnipresent in OS X and iOS.

• Good design helps us to understand a product

Surface's hardware and software is self-explanatory. Three seconds with the product and you know how to transform it from tablet to ultrabook. Boot it and you will be able to fully understand Metro immediately, discovering its more advanced features quickly.

• Good design is unobtrusive

With Surface, there's nothing to get in your way. Hardware-wise, it's a tablet designed to be held, with angles that are comfortable in your hands. Microsoft claims that in ultrabook mode, the keyboard is better than any other keyboard—although the fact that they wouldn't let anyone touch it may belie that sentiment. But the keyboard is undeniably unobtrusive, disappearing every time you cover your tablet's display. And the built-in trackpad allows you to edit any part of a document without having to lift your hands off the keyboard. Fast. It's certainly more elegant than Apple's wireless accessory solutions.

Again, the same happens with Metro. It never gets on the way of the most important thing: your information.

Devoid of artifice, Surface and Metro are both designed to serve their respective functions. There's no gratuitious eye candy. Every curve, every part and notch in the hardware, is there to make its mission possible. In Metro, even the smallest animations have been designed to convey a meaning. Nothing is there just for fun. Unlike iOS and OS X, there are no artificial skins, no leather, no trying to fake real objects that are already obsolete in the real world.

• Good design is durable

Microsoft stressed that the VaporMg process is extremely durable. The screen glass is Gorilla 2, the best you can get right now. And the keyboard appears solidly built, too. Metro is also durable: it will stand the test of time because it doesn't use outdated visual metaphors. It's just transparent to the user, all information, no adornment. iOS feels dated next to it. Metro's user experience is one that I see going well into this century, for as long as we use touch screens.

• Good design is consequent to the last detail

Clearly, the philosophy of Surface is united across hardware and software. Everything responds to the same values. Every detail is part of a single idea and responds to all these principles.

This is where Apple fails. The hardware is consequent to the last detail. But the user experience is not consistent with the principles established in the hardware.

Objectively and comparatively, it's a mess. Ive's designs are tainted by Forstall's leather.

In fact, I'm convinced that Surface is the product that Jonny Ive would make if he had complete hardware and user interface design control at Apple.

• Good design is concerned with the environment

We don't have details about manufacturing, so I can't judge this one.


• Good design is as little design as possible

Both Microsoft and Apple's hardware follow this rule strictly. But Microsoft out-Apples Apple by taking this principle to the user experience too, as I explained above.
The design in Metro is as minimal as it can get, as opposed to the land of fake surfaces and shiny knobs in iOS or OS X. Information is God in the Metro universe, and every graphic element is there to show it in the clearest way possible. Or, said in a different way, there are no frivolous graphical elements to get in the way.

Excited? You should be

If Microsoft delivers—which means that the price and the battery life should be competitive with Apple's offerings, and that keyboard lives up to its billing—it has a real chance of stopping the seemingly unstoppable Apple empire. Or at least slowing it down.

If it fulfills its promise, if Microsoft Surface Pro is $800 or $900 and can pull six or seven hours of battery life, then things will change. It's going to be hard, since they don't have the app ecosystem yet, but that will come eventually. Microsoft has the user base, the developer base, and the deep pockets to make sure of that.

The only thing Microsoft was missing until yesterday just was a better platform. Now all the pieces are in place for a well-fought war, just like the good old days.

Come this fall, you will have two choices: 1) Get a MacBook Air for work and an iPad for play or 2) Get a beautifully designed, ultra-fast tablet with a sleek touch interface that can also be a full computer with the power of an ultrabook.

The iPad started a new era in computing but, for all its undeniable hardware innovation and beauty, it carries a legacy. It's a truly useful and fun color Newton on gorgeous, zippy hardware. And the MacBook Air is perhaps the perfect ultrabook, the pinnacle of Apple's laptop evolution. But, sadly, it runs an OS X/iOS Frankenlion. And it represents the end of an era, not the future. Both are extremely good and successful products but, when you look at them as a complete package of hardware and software, they fail to pass the stringent 10 Principles test advanced by Rams.

But Surface doesn't. It is new from the ground up. It's a coherent product that can be a tablet like the iPad and an ultrabook like the MacBook Air. A new product that merges the old and the new into something that seems to work quite nicely.

No, it's not the Second Coming of the Jesustabletbook. And yes, Apple will respond (I hope!) in kind. But Surface could be the first device to fulfill the promise of the New Computing Era ushered in by the iPad.

I'm excited. Not only because Surface looks great on its own, but because it signals a new drama in the struggle between Cupertino and Seattle—one that I've been following with many others since the 80s. The difference is that, once again, the classic players have switched roles. Apple is the winner but the prisoner of its own success and heritage. Microsoft is the underdog and has the freedom that only someone with nothing to lose can afford. I wonder if Apple would be bold and continue to innovate instead of just living from Job's heritage.

Whatever happens, a new war begins this fall. This is going to be fun.

Apple's Next iPad will be a Rival Google Nexus 7 in terms of cost and size

The arguably high price tag of the Apple iPad has hardly been a detriment to the tablet’s wild popularity since its release, as Apple continues to enjoy a stranglehold over the tablet market.


Even still, Apple is rumored to have plans to release a smaller, and more wallet-friendly device designed to directly compete with the current 7-inch tablet market, including Google’s new Nexus 7 tablet.

This time around, the forthcoming iPad screen is expected to be standard definition, and between 7 and 8 inches, compared to the high-definition 9.7 inch version that’s currently available. While official specs and a release date have yet to be disclosed, consumers should be able to expect an announcement by early fall, and the new iPad by the end of the year.

Razer Atlas - An Intel Core I7 Tablet

Bob Freking created a new tablet concept, the Razer Atlas, a 7 inch device with a Core i7 CPU, plus stylus, keyboard, mouse compatibility and phone features. The name Atlas comes from the Greek mythology character, the one who held the world on his back. He chose Razer, because it makes sexy devices, with top notch specs.

The Razer Atlas is a 7 inch Windows devices, with a Win RT version and a Win 8 version. So it can be selected in a Tegra version or core i3 to i7 version and it will have 4 GB of RAM, a 16 megapixel camera and a 7 inch 1080p HD screen. There’s also the option of associating keyboards and mice to it, plus the same S Pen that Samsung has. The price of the RT version is $800, while the maximum for the Windows 8 tablet is $1800, with Core i7 CPU and 4 GB of RAM.

That’s good enough to run games like Crysis or Portal easily, according to the designer Bob Freking. I see this as a desktop replacement and the definite laptop killer. It’s still too big to replace a phone and too little to play Crysis, if you ask me. 10 inches suit Windows 8 better, I think.

Single Click To Shut Down your PC..!!

Did you know that in Windows XP you can shut down your computer from the (eventually DOS prompt) command line box? Moreover, you can do this by clicking your mouse only once.

All you need to do is... right-click on an empty Desktop spot -> select New -> Shortcut -> type shutdown followed by a space, and then enter one or more of the parameters listed below -> click Next -> type a suggestive name for your new shortcut -> finally, click Finish.

This is the Shutdown.exe (located in %systemroot%\System32, usually C:\ Windows\System32) syntax:


shutdown [-i|-l|-s|-r|-a] [-f] [-m \\computername] [-t xx] [-c "Text"] [-d[u][p]:xx:yy]

Valid command line switches:

-a = Abort system shutdown in progress ONLY IF the -t xx timeout option was already set to ANY value other than 0. ALL switches except -l and -m are ignored during abort.

-c "Text" = Text comment (case insensitive) to be displayed in the Message area of the System Shutdown window. MUST be enclosed between quotes. Maximum allowed 127 ASCII characters.

-d [u][p]:xx:yy = Reason code for shutdown:
u = User code.
p = Planned shutdown code.
xx = Major reason code. Positive integer number less than 256.
yy = Minor reason code. Positive integer number less than 65536.

-f = Force running applications to close without warning.

-i = Display the shutdown interface (GUI). MUST be the first option!

-l = Log off the current user of the local computer (default action). Can NOT be used with the -m option unless the current user has Sysadmin rights, in which case the -m switch takes precedence.

-m \\computername = Remote/network computer name (most always case sensitive) to log off/restart/shut down. Current user MUST have Sysadmin rights to be allowed to use this switch!

-s = Shut down the local computer.

-r = Shut down and restart (reboot) the local computer.

-t xx = Set shutdown timer to timeout for xx seconds. IF NOT specified defaults to 20 seconds. Allowed values between 0 and 99 seconds. The -a switch is the ONLY one that CAN be used during the timeout period.

NOTES:
The dash (-) in front of these switches can be replaced by a forward slash (/).

Spaces are NOT required to separate the shutdown command from ANY following switches, but ARE required to separate ANY switch from its following parameter(s), if any.
For example:

shutdown -s -c "Shutting down!" -t 3

tells your computer to shutdown after waiting for 3 seconds while the System Shutdown window will display text above in the Message area.

Optional: after you're done creating your customized shortcut for shutdown -> right-click on it -> select Properties -> enter your desired key "combo" in the Shortcut Key box (e.g. Ctrl + Alt + End) -> click OK/Apply.
From now on just left-click on your shutdown shortcut or hit that key combination to turn off/restart/log off your computer.

4. change both values to "1173028864" (it mean 7520golds), then lock both values
5. you now have unlimited gold, upgrade your all tower to MAX,,and happy gaming

here the trick:

Name of Cheat : always Win
Manual Steps :

1. open game, look at your current crystals (begining game : 10 crystals)
2. open cih2 then input number "10", see result
3. let an enemy took your crystal (i assume you now have 9 crystal)
4. repeat it until you got 1 address
5. change the value to "10" and then lock it
6. if in this stage doesnt work, just restart stage (sometimes its looked your crystal is empty, it mean the trick worked well),, i sure you will always win every stage with perfect crystal, :P





Name of Cheat : infinite time on bonus stage
Manual Steps :

1. open game, in stage bonus, pause game,look your current time (make sure you have 00:30 if not, restart stage)
2. open cih2, input number "1106247680"
3. start game spend your time, (i assume you have 00.25 time)
4. open cih2 again, then press (-) repeat it until you have 2 address
5. change both values to "1106247680" and lock both,, :D
6. happy unlimited times,, :D

FACEBOOK PHONE - Thumbs Up !

Michal Bonikowski a designer has designed a  beautiful Facebook Phone mockup, that explores a very elegant form factor and a 4.2 inch format. I see this as a combo between HTC and Apple design, if you want.

As you probably know already, Facebook recruited many former software and hardware engineers from Apple and put them to work on the Facebook Phone. Michal’s Facebook Phone features a 4.2 inch display, possibly a Super AMOLED or SLCD 2 one, plus an 8 megapixel camera at the back. The design of the camera area with that metallic band would make any hardware maker jealous, aside from Toshiba, that already did a similar thing with the cameras on the Thrive tablet.

This looks like an Android phone, although the capacitive buttons at the button are pretty unique. There’s something about this phone that makes it feel affordable and sturdy… it may just be the build, that brings the idea of sturdiness and lots of plastic. The handset chargers via an induction charging dock and supposedly there’s a 5MP camera upfront for Facebook video chatting. I hear that Facebook’s stock value is dropping every day, so maybe they need a phone to get them up there again!

Tutorial to Install applications and games on a windows phone from xap

NOTE:
THIS REQUIRES UNLOCKED WINDOWS PHONE

Method number 1:

1. Install the Windows Phone Developer Tools
2. Open the Application Deployment tool (Start-> Windows Phone Developer Tools -> Application Deployment) and follow the instructions.

Method number 2:
Stage 1:

1. Install the Windows Phone Developer Tools
2. Download and unzip the latest version of Tom XAP Installer
3. Run Tom XAP Installer.exe
4. Place a check mark beside "Enable Tom XAP Installer" and close the window 
   

Note: you did in step 1 to be performed only once. It is advisable not to remove or move Tom XAP Installer.exe

Stage 2:

1. Connect the device to your PC
2. Start the Zune
3. Check that the device is locked (ie start screen)
4. Download the application. Xap
5. Open it
6. Click Install and wait for the installation
   

Method number 3:

1. Download  the latest version of the Homebrew Windows Phone 7 Market
2. Open XAPDeployX.exe
3. Choose where you need to install XAP (Windows Phone 7 Device - The device, Windows Phone 7 Emulator - Emulator)
   
4. Click Browse and select the XAP, which you need to install and click Open. You can also drag and drop XAP to the program, without clicking Browse.

5. Click Deploy
   

 

The advantage of the third method is the lack of need to install Windows Phone 7 Developers Tools. Also, there is an alternative embodiment of the third step - in the Homebrew Windows Phone 7 Market click Options, and then click "Register filehandler". After this operation, you can simply open the XAP file in Windows Explorer, Homebrew Windows Phone 7 Market will start automatically.
